What is FabStyle?

FabStyle is the be-all and end-all for suiting requirements, with the option to buy, rent and take bulk orders.

Is there a difference between the suits on purchase and those for hire?

Yes, there is a difference between the two categories but only in them being kept completely separate from each other. When it comes to quality of fabric and suit construction, we employ the same finesse and care to craft the best suit possible for you across both verticals.

How do I rent from FabStyle?

Renting from FabStyle is simple and convenient.

  • Choose a style: from complete ensembles or pick and choose between ensembles to create a distinctive look
  • Take your measurements: with our easy-to- follow measurement guidelines
  • Order and pay: with guaranteed delivery 3 – 7 days before your event

How far in advance should I place my order?

We recommend placing your order as soon as you know the date of your event. At the latest we’d prefer if you made your order 15 days prior to the event. If your event is only a couple weeks away, choose from our catalogue of priority products that ship with a rush fee. Contact our customer care team for any queries regarding availability for a future date.

Note: Deliveries/pick-ups are unavailable on Sundays so plan accordingly

How do I return my rental?

To return your rental, simply request a pick-up at your delivery location at no extra charge. If you’re travelling and wish to have us pick-up the rental from a location alternate to your delivery location,request for the same and we’ll have it done (provided it falls in a serviceable pincode).

If your alternate location happens to fall in an unserviceable pincode, send the rental to us via your courier of choice with the Order Number, Air Waybill and date of despatch for tracking and we’ll refund you upto a maximum of Rs.100 for costs incurred.

Our rental policy requires that you send back your order within 2 days of your event (Ex: a suit worn on the 1 st should have a pick-up requested by the 3rd EOD). In the event you are unable to do so within this time frame, a 10% delay charge will be levied for everyday crossed.

If you cannot return your items in this allotted time due to travel or other circumstances, please contact our customer care team and we will be happy to work with you.

  • If you request a pick-up and the parcel isn’t ready, you are eligible to incur a cost of Rs.250
  • Deliveries/pick-ups are unavailable on Sundays so plan accordingly

Does FabStyle only service Bangalore city?

Yes. Currently, FabStyle only services Bangalore city but you can expect us to be offering our rental services across India very soon. Leave your email here to be updated on future happenings.

How good are your rental suits?

FabStyle employs only the finest suiting materials in its production process so you can be guaranteed an extensive range of suits, of the very best quality.

Do you have a service for rushed orders?

FabStyle offers a service to handle orders that can’t be placed before 15 days of the event. Such orders only apply to priority products, which are heavily reliant on time available and hence carry a 50% rush fee.

What are priority products?

Priority products are those available to customers who need to rent a suit less than 15 days before an event. These priority products carry a 50% rush fee of the rental amount.

I love my rental. Can I buy it off you?

We love that you love our products but at this time we are only renting our garments. But be on the lookout for changes…just in case.

Can I receive a fabric swatch prior to ordering?

Yes, you most definitely can. Simply email our customer care team with your address and the desired swatch colors. We’ll get them out to you promptly (at a cost that is refundable against purchase at Rs.100 for up to 6 fabric swatches).

Fitting and Measurements

How do I get fitted for my rental?

FabStyle employs a number of methods to ensure you get the perfect fit. You can:

  • Enter your measurements if they’re known offhand to you
  • Take your measurements using our easy-to- follow instructions
  • Get a tailor to measure you in accordance with our guidelines
  • Choose from standard sizing of S/M/L/XL
  • Send in your best fitting suit and we’ll replicate the same fit
What’s the latest I can submit my measurements?

Ideally, we’d like to receive your measurements a full 30 days prior to the event. But in case of emergencies we will take orders 15 days prior to your event. In case of changes to measurements already provided please contact our customer care team.

How do I know my suit will fit?

FabStyle hails from a 30 year tradition of bespoke suit making. Our team of expert tailors and fit specialists have developed our proprietary system to get you a great fit, almost always on the first try.

Also, your order will arrive between 3 and 7 days before your event, which gives you plenty of time to try it on and make sure it fits.

How good can I expect the fit to be?

Your fit depends heavily on the measurements you provide. From our end, our expert couturiers carefully analyse your measurements to make sure nothing is amiss. If they feel like it is, you’ll receive a mail to countercheck the same.

What happens if my rental doesn’t fit?

Firstly, try on the rented piece as soon as you get it (ideally within the first 24 hours). On the off-chance that it doesn’t sit well with you these are your options:

If the changes are minor you may recruit your nearest tailor for the job but only after getting the go-ahead from us. For alterations of sleeve/trouser length we’ll reimburse you a maximum of Rs.250/Rs.100 respectively.

If time is on your side, you may also choose to have the garment reverse picked-up and we’ll orchestrate any adjustments required. Alternately, you could choose to send us the garment via a courier service of your choice. Free alterations are provided (for sleeve length/sides) if our measurements don’t match the ones provided when placing the order. If measurements match but alterations are still required, charges will be levied as per work required.

Shipping policies

How does my rental get to me?

We ship your rental via FedEx to arrive 3 -7 days before your event. Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as your order ships.

What address should I ship my rental to?

We strongly advise having your order shipped to the address where you will be 3 – 7 days prior to your event. This will allow maximum time to try on the order and contact us should there be any fit issues. For this we recommend using your primary residential address.

How much are your shipping charges?

By way of our shipping partners – FedEx - shipping charges are subsidised to a rate of Rs.150 (the actual amount being closer to Rs.400). This amount is included in your rental cost.

What do I do if my package has already been shipped but I require a change in my delivery address?

It isn’t ideal that you change your delivery address at the last moment but if you really must please notify our customer care team as early as possible. The rerouting of an order will incur an extra charge of Rs.175.

When does my order arrive?

Rentals are guaranteed to reach your doorstep 3 -7 days before your event date.

What type of box is my rental shipped in?

We ship in high quality corrugated micro-flute boxes. Our suits arrive neatly folded on hangers to ensure use straight out-of- the box. We recommend hanging the suits immediately after delivery to allow any wrinkles to clear. A light steam ironing may be necessary to remove any stubborn wrinkles.

What if I don’t have the box it was shipped in?

No problem. Just have the suit packed well before requesting to have it picked up and we’ll take care of the rest.

Garment Care

Will I need to have the suit pressed?

We use fabric with anti-wrinkle qualities and the best tailoring materials to make sure it’s easy to wear our garments right away. All of our suits come ready to hang and any small wrinkles usually come out after a few hours. If you are experiencing major wrinkle issues after hanging your suit, a light steam ironing should remove them without much further ado.

Am I responsible for cleaning the rental?

Absolutely not! At FabStyle, your rental is returned to form by our dry-cleaning partner ‘All Dry’ and their state-of- the-art Italian dry-cleaning plant.

What happens if I damage or lose the rental?

We get it. Mishaps happen all the time. Our dry cleaners and tailors can sometimes fix small stains and minor damage like popped buttons. These minor amendments are fully covered by us. In case of significant damage which renders the product unusable, or if you fail to return the product, please notify us to avoid daily recurring late fees.

If the suit is lost you’ll be required to pay 70% of the suit cost. Failure to communicate the loss, 10 days after the return date, entitles FabStyle to charge you the full cost of the suit. Any dispute arising out of such a situation shall be subject to Bangalore (Karnataka) jurisdiction. The charges will be deducted from your safety deposit with the remaining charges paid in full, immediately.

Note: We encourage our customers to take a photo of the rental before returning it to us, in the event that FedEx damages the rental during the return process. Failure to have this photograph means we have final say on damage to the rental.

What if I’d like to change my order?

If you would like to change your order or shipping information, please contact our customer care team.

If you would like to change your measurements, please log in to your account. If your event is less than 15 days away, please contact our customer care team and check if your request is possible.

What should I do if my event is cancelled and I no longer need a rental?

First, let us know as soon as you know.If your order has already shipped, a merchandise credit will be issued to you as long as you immediately return the unused garments within 24 hours of delivery.

For cancellations prior to shipping for your event date, you will receive a full refund, minus shipping and handling charges of Rs.400, post our approval.

What happens if I return my rental late?

Delay in returning a rental causes delays on the next customer’s order, so we urge you to adhere to the 2 day return policy. Charges are levied at 10% of the rental rate for every day past the 2 day return policy. If for some reason you can foresee not being able to meet this commitment, please contact our customer care team and we’ll be happy to work with you. BULK ORDERS FAQs How long do you take to process bulk orders?

It’s best if you can begin planning with us 30 – 60 days prior to the event. This gives us the best chance of ensuring things go smoothly and according to plan. On occasion, we do make exceptions and take orders 15 days prior to the event. In such cases, it’s best to shoot us a mail to find out what’s possible.

Can bulk orders be received at multiple locations?

Yes, bulk orders can be delivered to either – a single or separate addresses – as is preferred by the group. In case of multiple delivery locations, these addresses must be furnished in a single mail at the time of order placement.

What is the security deposit for bulk orders?

For orders of 5 suits or more, the security deposit is reduced to Rs.3000 per suit, considering all criteria are met. For orders below 5 suits the standard security deposit is applicable.

Is it possible to customize bulk orders according to individual preferences (of style, colour etc.)?

Yes, it is possible for individual customization on bulk orders but only with a minimum of 45 days to date of the event. In such cases, a dedicated concierge will follow up on the customizations, even helping to put together a theme if the client should so require or desire.

What is the payment process for bulk orders?

Bulk orders work in two options; buy and rent. 

  • With buying in bulk, the order is delivered after payment is received. 
  • With the rental option, a security deposit is first collected along with the rental amount. After this, the order is delivered and the difference in amount is refunded upon our Rental Quality Check. Refunds may occur through a direct Brank transfer of cheque, as per your preference.

The SFS Store is an experience center, designed for our customers to ‘Expect More’. Visiting our physical address will get you an unmatched in-store experience, concierges on call, discounts, goodies and much more.

Where is it located?

What extra can I expect to find at the SFS Store?

At our physical store you'll find the entire SFS collection that you've come to see online, along with helpful advice from our team of stylists and a range of accessories and store specials on offer.

Would you suggest buying a suit online or offline?

FabStyle extends its quality commitment across all products and formats. The main advantage of buying offline is experienced by first time suit buyers, who get a first hand feel for our fabrics and products. Subsequent orders are generally preferred online.

What's the Loyalty Club?

BUY FAQs

What fabrics are used to create the SFS line of suits, shirts etc.?

Different collections use different fabrics as indicated in the product pages. Our fabrics are primarily sourced from Warp & Weft - our partners who constantly source the best of fabric across PolyViscose, PolyWool and Wool-Silk blends. This emphasis on quality is prime and drives us to only partner with the best.

Payment

What are my options for payment?

FabStyle’s payment gateway partner EBS allows you to make payments via credit card, debit card, e-wallet, prepaid cards, netbanking and host of other payment options. You can also avail of our Cash On Delivery service at a surcharge of Rs.250.

When do you charge my Credit/Debit card?

Your card will be charged once you have entered your sizes and completed the checkout process.You may see a transaction pending authorization. This is common bank practice for credit card transactions and the authorization will clear within 72 hours.

Is your payment method secure?

Your privacy and security is of utmost importance to us. Your data is always protected and will never be sold to a third party. All transactions on our website are securely handled by our payment partner EBS - the first Indian merchant account provider to achieve the ECI DSS 3.0 standards of transactional security compliance.
